I grew up on the outskirts of Mindanao in the Philippines, where access to technology was scarce. However, this did not deter me from developing a passion for technology and innovation.
When I entered college, I pursued a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology because I believed it was the perfect path to realizing my dreams. Even during my college years, my love for coding blossomed. I chose to specialize in web development, knowing it would pave the way for me to achieve my aspirations.

Fifteen-plus years of shipping taught me that code is only part of the job. Good projects need someone who understands the business problem, communicates clearly, leads the team through delivery and leaves behind systems that are easy to maintain.

I am proficient in several programming languages, including JavaScript, PHP, and Node.js. Each of these languages has allowed me to develop a wide range of applications, from front-end interfaces to back-end systems.
My approach to debugging involves systematically isolating the problem by using tools like Chrome DevTools, logging, and unit tests. I prioritize understanding the root cause before writing the fix, so the same issue doesn’t come back.
Mostly by building. I try new tools on real work, read release notes for the stacks I ship with, and keep what proves useful. Today that includes AI-assisted delivery at BINES.
Large ecommerce catalogues come up often. On Lillian M Collection, moving products in by hand wasn’t practical, so I built custom plugins for fast product migration along with a custom product search.
I break work into small, reviewable tasks, agree on scope before building, and keep progress visible in tools like Jira or Asana. Working in agile cycles surfaces risks early, while there is still time to act on them.
I grew up where access to technology was scarce, so I don’t take the chance to build for granted. Every project is an opportunity to do the work a little better than the last one.
